Opis:: With increasing automobiles in the parking space, we could face problems like unplanned parking, lack of discipline, wasting time and fuel while looking for free space around the parking ground. These problems could be solved by applying Arduino for controlling car parking system. The proposed system will detect an available parking slot in short time, saves fuel, offer monitoring car parking system with low consumption, easy to implement and inexpensive.

Opis:: The paper discusses possible applications of wireless technologies in support of lean manufacturing tools. The typology of lean tools is provided. It distinguishes three main categories, which are identification and analysis of waste, improvement implementation, and process monitoring. The set of lean tools was analyzed in terms of information requirements. On the other hand, the typology of wireless technologies was discussed including RFID and Wi-Fi. The literature review of wireless technology applications for support of lean tools was conducted. The literature was systematically reviewed from the point of view of specific technologies and specific tools which were the subjects of the analyzed publications. Both typologies were synthesized to establish a framework for wireless technologies applications in the context of lean manufacturing implementation. It also could serve as a guideline for lean practitioners and implies future research directions. This paper is an extended version of paper published by [1].

Opis:: Authors describe the possibilities of a wireless technology used within safety-critical applications with orientation to selection the computationally safety cryptography techniques. Undetected corruption of data transmission can cause substantially considerable damages within equipments, environments or demands on human health and this is reason why systems have to be designed so that guarantee required Safety Integrity Level. For this reason the safety-related wire or wireless machines must have implemented a number of safety mechanisms located into special safety or security profiles. Nowadays, after acceptation of the new standard ISA 100.11a the barrier was broken towards the use of wireless machine-to-machine communications in standard and safety-related communication, too. ZigBee technology is very accepted standard which fulfils the requirements to the wireless industrial communication system. The main part of the paper describes the possible attacks to ZigBee communications based on cryptography mechanisms with orientation to Denial-of-Service attack. The practical part contains the results of ZigBee sensor network testing in laboratory conditions with demonstration of error-control mechanisms of MESH topology and cryptoanalytic’s attacks based on monitoring of traffic are mentioned as well.

Opis:: The main objectives of the MarCom project (‘Maritime Communications - broadband at sea’) are to investigate the main user needs and communication technologies requirements to accommodate those needs within the maritime community. The project will carry out several pilots to demonstrate the usability of terrestrial wireless technologies in combination with, and in some areas instead of satellite communication (SatCom). The major benefit to the maritime users are expected to be reduced costs, increased bandwidth, Quality-of-Service (QoS) and improved communication security and versatility. The MarCom approach is characterized by combining thorough investigations of present and future user needs through nine scenarios/user cases along with identification of cost-effective communication platforms to match the application requirements being obtained. The MarCom investigations have revealed the bandwidth needs for a set of application groups, and identified the data integrity requirements for each group. Furthermore this paper is addressing the MarCom work with the IMO/IALA e-Navigation strategic initiative in establishing the bandwidth requirements to obtain the major objectives of the e-Navigation concept.

Opis:: This study proposes the LoRa-Based Mesh Sensor Network without relying on LoRaWAN connection sending the communication data in the form of Star-to-Star, it can be sends the data in the form of peer-to-peer without the gateway. In the case that a longer distance is needed, the system is connected by a means of multi-hop presenting the hardware and software model through the use of low voltage power. Then, the testing is done using point to point and the received signal is measured by a gauge and compared with the model in accordance with the theoretical principle.

Development of wireless communication is a challenge for school net infrastructure. Access to electronic sources through LAN is becoming ineffective while present Wi-Fi nets should enable communication for all employees and pupils at school. For this reason we should learn about different aspects of constructing effective WLAN answering the needs of particular schools.

Opis:: In this paper the quality aspects of bitrate and loudness in digital broadcasting and webcasting systems are examined. The authors discuss a survey concerning user preferences related with processing and managing audio content. The coding efficiency of a popular audio format is analyzed in the context of storing media. An objective study on a representative group of signal samples, as well as a subjective study of the perceived quality of real-time broadcasted and webcasted radio programs are performed.

Opis:: This paper presents the findings of Modified Waterfall Model for Le MaC Wireless Storage Management. The system store users files using offline connection to save all their activities inside the computer laboratories. As a result, the notion of user made it easy for end users v to save their files without a help of a flash drives. Information Technology thus plays a key role in the development of the autonomous learner extends to operators as well as to programmers, which are users of components such as software libraries. The standard provides a framework for organizations to define a quality model for a software product. In doing so, however, it leaves up to each organization the task of specifying precisely its own model. This may be done, for example, by specifying target values for quality metrics which evaluates the degree of presence of quality attributes.
