Let $(S_n)$ be some vector sequence, converging to S, satisfying $S_n - S \sim ϱ ^n n^{θ}(β_0 + β_1 n^{-1} + β_2 n^{-2} + ...), 0 \lt |ϱ|\lt 1 , θ \lt 0$, where $β_0(\ne 0), β_1,...$ are constant vectors independent of n. The purpose of this paper is to provide acceleration methods for these vector sequences. Comparisons are made with some known algorithms. Numerical examples are also given.

Opis:
In this paper we present a method for the computation of convergence bounds for four classes of multiserver queueing systems, described by inhomogeneous Markov chains. Specifically, we consider an inhomogeneous M/M/S queueing system with possible state-dependent arrival and service intensities, and additionally possible batch arrivals and batch service. A unified approach based on a logarithmic norm of linear operators for obtaining sharp upper and lower bounds on the rate of convergence and corresponding sharp perturbation bounds is described. As a side effect, we show, by virtue of numerical examples, that the approach based on a logarithmic norm can also be used to approximate limiting characteristics (the idle probability and the mean number of customers in the system) of the systems considered with a given approximation error.

The foundations of contemporary Indigenous relations in Canada have been laid by class action lawyers who foresaw the potential for correcting, acknowledging and addressing historical wrongs. Decades of persistence by Indigenous leaders and collateral work by lawyers compelled the Canadian government, the Canadian public and its major religious and charitable institutions to face their pasts. Class and mass action lawsuits are indispensable to lawyers seeking to advance claims that recognize the systemic oppression of Indigenous people beyond individual harms. Respected class action lawyer Steven L. Cooper, KC, outlines more than 250 years of this legal history that has defined the unique status of Indigenous Canadians, from recognizing royal proclamations as they relate to land claims to settlements that have seen hundreds of thousands of Indigenous people compensated for harms inflicted in residential schools and hospitals.

Starting from a differential equation \(\frac{\partial}{\partial t} W (\lambda, t, u)=\frac{\lambda(u-t)}{p(t)}W(\lambda,t,u)-\beta W(\lambda,t,u)\) for the kernel of an operator \(S_\lambda(f,t) = \int_{A}^{B}W(\lambda,t,u)f(u)du\) with the normalization condition \(\int_A^B W(\lambda, t, u)du = 1\) we prove some properties which are similar to properties proved by Ismail and May for the exponential operators. In particular, we show that all these operators are approximation operators. Moreover, a method of determining \(S_\lambda\) for a given function \(p\) is introduced.

A new class of \(\gamma\) rest bounded second variation sequences is defined. Some relationships between classes of considered sequences are proved. The results of Leindler [3] and author [8] are extended to our new class.
