- In this article, I will discuss the position of King, Keohane and Verba. Referring directly to the issues of sociology and political science, these authors set the main goal of their considerations to show how to design a research that brings accurate conclusions about social and political life. Many of their comments are applicable to research in other fields of science, including in psychology. Qualitative, and not only quantitative, methods can be very useful in researching the IT environment. Educational organizations can apply the conclusions from studies which connect the qualitative and quantitative methods to assist in the staff development to achieve organizational goals. Also -in process of proper recruitment of leaders in business management or to assist the stuff to raise the performing of professional tasks, even self-development of stuff members should also use the scientific research findings. Hence I consider both – quantitative but also qualitative methods – worth quoting and analyzing.
